PRIVACY POLICY

We respect your privacy and we will never sell, trade, barter or rent out your information without your consent. The information you provide will be held by us (Aussit Group Pty Ltd trading as Community Brokers, Credit Representative Number 485973) and Beagle Finance Pty Ltd (Australian Credit Licence 383640).

 

Provision of services

In order for us to assist you with your finance, we will ask you for personal information. We use the information you provide to assist you with your credit needs. We only disclose your information to the companies you deal with. You understand that we are not responsible on how these companies handle your information. If you do not provide the information requested, we may be unable to assist in arranging finance or providing other services.

 

Promotions and Community Programs

From time to time, when you participate with our promotions or Community Programs, we may share your information with third parties in order for us to provide the service(s) as prescribed on the promotions or programs.

 

Surveys, communications (not limited to contents delivered via emails and postal) and events

We may from time to time send you communications on new products, services and promotions. To enable us to constantly provide tailored services and products to you, we may from time to time send you surveys to participate in.

 

Opt-out

If you do not wish to receive any communications (including newsletters) or surveys from us, you may email to us to request removal of your name from our communication and/ or survey list.

 

Legal compliance

We may disclose information about you in the event where we are legally required to comply with court orders or instructions directed by lawful agencies. We may also disclose your information to our credit licensee, their third party suppliers and contractors for administration and supervision of your credit services, and to fulfil our legal obligations to maintain lawful compliance. Should there be a dispute arising from our dealings with you, we may disclose your information to third party for resolution and mediation purposes.

 

Retention of your information

We will retain your information for as long as legally required or as reasonably required for its purposes. Your information are kept electronically in secured servers, and where hard copies are used, we will only retain them when legally required, otherwise we will destroy the hard copies post loan submission or return to you if requested up front prior to submission.

 

Other third parties

We may disclose your information to our third party suppliers, contractors and external entities in order for us to administer your credit services. External entities can be based locally and/ or located overseas and can include the below:

  • Persons who provide finance or other products to you, or to whom an application has been made for those products.
  • Financial consultants, accountants, lawyers and advisers
  • Any industry body, tribunal, court or otherwise in connection with any complaint regarding our services
  • Any person where we are required by law to do so
  • Any of our associates, related entities or contractors
  • Your referees, such as your employer, to verify information you have provided
  • Any person considering acquiring an interest in our business or assets
  • Any organisation providing online verification of your identity

When you participate in our promotions or programmes, we may disclose your information to third parties to enable us to fulfil our obligations. This may include the use of (not limited to) postal agents or third party suppliers to send out gift vouchers.

 

Your consent

By authorising us to assist with your credit needs and provision of credit services, you consent to the collection and use of the information you have provided to us for the purposes as described. Your consent may also include third party purchase such as your credit file as part of your credit assessment and/ or submission.

 

Client non-disclosure of information

We use the information disclosed by you to enable us to correctly assess your credit worthiness. As such, if you don’t or cannot provide us with full, factual and correct information, we cannot (as legally required) advice or assist you with your credit needs.

 

Request for your information on file

You may email to us and request a copy of the information we hold about you for the purpose of amending or revising the information; provided you provide to us with enough information to allow us to identify the information you requested, and to allow reasonable time for us to search and compile the records. Subject to our agreement, we may amend, revise or change the information that you provide to us. We do not charge for any amendments we make on your personal information we retain on our file in our possession.
